Earlier this year, I joined a Facebook group called “Men’s Mental Health.” I was hoping I could do quite a bit of research for my new mental wellness blog AMOME. I was looking to find out what type of mental help men are looking for, and I also wanted to share some of the things that I have found helpful. The group was great for people who needed help and encouragement from their fellow men. Guys would share anything, and everything that was going on in their lives, and a flood of positive reinforcement would come pouring in. I would…

I read so many facebook posts and instagram memes comparing the 2020 Election day(s) to a number of things, but for me, it felt like a very long and serious operation to remove a brain tumor. This operation could have been terminal. At the end of this operation, the nurse could have come out and say, “I am sorry, we did everything we could, but we lost her”, or “great news, she made it through the operation, it will be a long and difficult recovery process for her, but she will be fine”.

Now that the results are in and…

Over the past 4 years I have heard so many reasons (excuses) from people who voted for Trump in 2016 and/or are planning to vote for him in 2020. Here are the top 5 reasons debunked.

1) Trump Is A True Conservative

No, he is not. In fact since 1987 Trump has changed his party affiliation five times. In 1999, Trump changed his party affiliation to the Independence Party of New York. In August 2001, Trump changed his party affiliation to Democratic. In September 2009, Trump changed his party affiliation back to the Republican Party. In December 2011, Trump changed to “no party affiliation” (independent). In…

If you are planning to vote for Trump or better yet, you are undecided, please hear me out.

In the past few weeks I was invited by a friend of mine to join a private Facebook group called “Iranian-Americans for Joe Biden”. I am a democrat and I am voting for Biden so naturally I accepted the invitation and began going through the posts. There were many articles which described Biden’s vision for America. There were some poll numbers showing Trump trailing Biden. I did find a few memes making fun of Trump, Melania and (since it was during the…

It is 12:15pm on Wednesday February 5th and the the results of the Iowa caucus are still up in the air. The Iowa Democratic party has released a majority of the results and so far Pete Buttigieg is in the lead with 26.8% of the state delegate equivalents and Sanders trailing right behind him with 25.1%. We don’t have the final results yet and we are already seeing an increased number of attacks against Pete Buttigieg from within the Democratic party and the mainstream media. This is not a new phenomenon, god knows I am guilty of posting/reposting anti-Hilary articles…

On September 29, 2016, a little over a month prior to the 2016 Presidential Election, I wrote my first ever story on Medium. It was titled: Donald Trump Can And Will Be Our Next President.

before I continue, I have to clear a few things up. First of all, I am not a Psychic.

I think the cry for masculinity has gone on for far too long and it’s time we addressed it. Shall we?

It seems to me that each of us can be in one of these three states at every given moment in our lives: Defensive, Offensive and Neutral. Most of us, who actually have lives, work, do house chores, take our kids to school, etc., are usually in a neutral position. We go about the daily routines of our lives. We say hi to our neighbors. We hold the door for other people. We contribute to charities. We spend time…

Did the title lure you in? Good! stay! Let’s talk this through.

I once asked my cousin who is 14 what he did during the weekend and he said he went “birding”. Honest to God I thought he meant bird watching. He also laughed out loud when I was humming Drake’s “In My Feelings”

This was called “Birding” in my time when I was young(er)

I am a residence of West Los Angeles and a business owner in Santa Monica. I absolutely HATE walking or driving around the neighborhood and seeing this sight:

What happened in Vegas last night was tragic. Some of us need time to mourn, I understand that. The rest of us need to move forward.

We have a goal. We have to keep our eyes on the ball. We have to achieve something if we want to live in a safer world. That is the basic need or ALL OF US.

I don’t know about you but I don’t feel safe in public anymore. When I’m out, especially in a large public gathering, I always try to be aware of my surroundings.

Las Vegas Strip was hit by a…
